The Fresno Metro Black Chamber Foundation is excited to introduce the Bizwerx Van-Werx Program, a forward-thinking initiative designed to revolutionize ride-hailing transportation with a keen focus on Equity and Access. This innovative program is set to transform the landscape of local transportation by providing accessible, reliable, and efficient ride-hailing services, particularly in underserved communities. Our commitment is to ensure that everyone, regardless of their socio-economic background, has equal access to convenient transportation options.

The Van-Werx Program aims to bridge the transportation divide, offering a lifeline to those who have been historically marginalized in mobility solutions. By fostering an inclusive environment where every community member can benefit from advanced ride-hailing services, we are not only enhancing connectivity but also contributing to the economic and social upliftment of our community. This initiative aligns with our overarching goal to create a more equitable, accessible, and connected world for all.


What are the requirements?

Van-Werx is available to anyone 55 and older. Contact a Van-Werx representative to become a member. Memberships are $35 per month. 

What is included?

  • Membership includes 4 round trips per month within the Fresno and Clovis areas.
  • Services are provided 9 am to 5 pm, 7 days per week.
  • Trips are by appointment only. 
  • ADA vans are available by request.

How does it work?

Call a Van-Werx associate to set up a membership. We will need:


  • Your name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Payment method - Debit, credit and EBT are accepted.
  • Any special needs - Wheelchair, support animal, or any other accommodations we might need to know about.
  • Once your membership is set up, just call the Van-Werx number to set up an appointment.
  • Reservations must be set up at least 24 hours in advance.
  • All trips are round trip - Home to destination and back.

What is the Cost?

The cost for membership is $35 a month. Membership includes four round trips in the Fresno/Clovis area per month.
